Georgeville – Nature and Ski is a group of community people who organise for the benefit of its members, cross country ski / snow-shoeing activities around a system of trails across the properties of local landowners. Other outdoor activities are organised for members throughout the year, to enjoy nature.


Georgeville – Nature and Ski activities include but are not limited to the following:

  • Cross-country skiing and snow-shoeing on local trails,
  • Nature walks,
  • Bird spotting outings
  • The annual Audubon Bird count,
  • Kayak and canoe outings,
  • Bicycling outings,
  • Talks and presentations on nature and other interesting subjects, and,
  • Other events in support of the local community and its largely outdoor interests.

To register for or renew your Georgeville Nature & Ski membership, please fill out the form below.

We encourage you to pay for your membership via an e-transfer payment to the Community Association of Georgeville (CAG) at Please indicate “GNS membership” in your e-transfer along with your full name.  Alternatively you can mail a cheque to Community Association of Georgeville, 4680 chemin Georgeville, QC, J0B 1T0.

Non-members can participate in activities for $5 per activity they participate in.

Trail Users Code of Respect: The use of the trails is a privilege granted by landowner(s), and can be revoked at any time for any reason. Trail access is only granted from November 1st to April 30th in any year. Users are asked to stay on the marked trails and to respect the environment by not causing damage and by ensuring no garbage is left behind. To access trails, parking (unless express permission is obtained from landowner) should be on the side of public roads with a speed limit of less than 70kph, and, safely allowing other vehicles to pass (e.g. a snowplow).

I understand my annual dues paid before my annual membership becomes effective and before I may make use of the ski trails or participate in other GNS activities.

HOLD HARMLESS AND INDEMNITY AGREEMENT Everyone using the trails does so at their own risk. In consideration of my being permitted to participate in GNS organized and sponsored activities, and for being permitted to ski, snowshoe and/or walk (cross) over private land, during the ski season, I hereby agree: 1) to hold GNS / CAG as well as its officers, directors, members, agents and the landowners over whose private land I may cross, harmless from and against any and all claims or actions for damages resulting from accidents, illness or injury suffered by myself, members of my family and persons for whom I am responsible including guests while using the cross-country ski trails established and maintained by GNS or while participating in any other GNS-sponsored activity, 2) to indemnify GNS / CAG for any and all loss, costs and expenses incurred by it in connection with any such accident, illness or injury, and 3) to uphold the Trail Users Code of Respect.
